A Quick History

The EDGE Conferences are student and leaders conferences sponsored by Inlightened Ministries, Inc. We currently sponsor three conferences each winter. Each event offers adult leadership training for youth ministers and youth workers as well as top-notch speakers, worship bands, creative ministries, Bible studies, and more for students.

At our EDGE conferences in 2006-2007, Craig Tackett (president of Inlightened Ministries) had a vision to take our conference experience to a community and offer it for free. By challenging our regular attenders at our winter conferences to pray, serve, and give toward this mission we would help them act on their faith and deepen their walk with Christ while reaching out to a whole new community of people with the love of Jesus in an exciting way.

So, our first ever EDGE on the Road took place in May 2008 in Roanoke, VA.
